Read for Good

This lovely image, reproduced with the kind permission of Read for Good, really captures how the charity reaches and engages with children of all ages, encouraging them to enjoy the many benefits of reading and the joy a love of books can bring. Over the last few years we have focussed our support on their Read for Good’s hospital programme and a substantial capital grant in the last year has and will help them to deliver many new mobile bookcases and thousands of books to more hospitals throughout the UK. These books, together with visits from Read for Good’s storytellers, can really brighten the days of poorly children, improving mental health and providing escapism from hospital through a good book and their own imagination. We are delighted to be able to support them with this.
