Families United Network (FUN)

Families United Network (FUN) supports children and young adults living with additional needs and disabilities throughout Bedfordshire. In a recent report to us, they say becoming our legacy partner gave them the ‘space and security to rebuild, plan with hope and to protect the services that so many families depend on’. They report our funding has provided thousands of hours of specialist activity and respite support, provided hundreds of inclusive sessions across all age groups, supported more than 260children and young people as well as their siblings and parents and allowed them to develop their fully adapted Centre to become a space where children and young people feel safe, welcome and included. They concluded their report by saying that lives have been changed, families stabilised and futures strengthened which is all we had hoped for.
