Cornwater Evergreens
Founded in 2001, Cornwater Evergreens has become a vital lifeline for older adults across Nottinghamshire. The charity originally began as a ‘friendship club’ but today provides vital support, companionship, activities and essential services that cater to the unique needs of older people in Nottingham.
Since becoming a legacy partner, Cornwater Evergreens has been able to open its door to many more people, carers and volunteers than ever before. Their Men’s Well-Being Club (with women welcome) is a new offering people enjoy attending, as well as their Singing for Dementia group. With more than 4,300 sessions delivered in the year 2024-25 across all their clubs and a large membership, it is no wonder they now have waiting lists. We are really pleased that, through them, we are helping to change lives in their community.
