The Counselling Centre (TCC)

The Counselling Centre (TCC) has been at the heart of the community in Tunbridge Wells for over 40 years offering affordable, accredited counselling to individuals and delivering professional training courses to counsellors to promote continuous, professional development.

The charity’s core mission is to seek to remove financial obstacles and enable people in the community who would benefit from its services to be able to access these should they need help. This is in a bid to combat the substantial rise in mental-health challenges seen since the pandemic and as a result of the cost of living crisis. 

In 2024, EGF provided TCC an endowment to allow them to invest in the future of the charity to keep their services relevant and available for people in need and to plan for the next 40 years and we were pleased to hear from their latest report that they had, once again, been accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy for both the counselling and training programmes they offer.
