Harlow Stroke Support Rehab Centre (HSSRC)

It was great to receive Harlow Stroke Support Rehab Centre’s Impact Report updating us on their activities in the year since they received our endowment. The charity offers non medical rehabilitation, support, information and advice to stroke survivors and their carers/families.

As well as all the above they offer opportunities for people to socialise and carers in the local community are encouraged to attend the meet ups they run to share experiences and socialise with others in the same situation.

HSSRC are doing wonderful work supporting people in their community which is why they are so worthy of our support. One of the biggest challenges they say they are facing however is that members are having more complex needs now and struggling with every day living, with less agents available to help them.
