Alive

Alive is a charity dedicated to improving the quality of lives of older people and their carers.  Based in Bristol, they look after people in the city/county as well as across north somerset, South Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.  In the last year through their amazing efforts they have enriched the lives of more than 7600 people, helping to reduce loneliness and social isolation and improving health and wellbeing. They do this through person centered activity sessions in a range of care settings and in the community, by training and supporting carers to enrich lives and by connecting people to their local communities and helping them to develop sustainable relationships. They are a voice for the rights of older people, speaking up to those in power to seek to improve lives and we are delighted to be able to support them in their work.
