Read for Good
Read for Good were in touch recently to update us on how our grant has helped them with their Book and Storytelling Project in Children’s Hospitals over the past year. In combination with other funders, our grant has meant that they have been able to work with 30 major children’s hospitals, providing almost 28,000 brand new books, 32 bespoke mobile bookcases and 158 full days of magical, child-led storytelling through their team of highly experienced professional storytellers. They say “introducing the children to reading or reconnecting them with a love of reading is one of the best possible ways to help in both the short and long term because a love of reading changes lives”. We wholeheartedly agree and were delighted to be able to help them in their efforts.
