Brent Centre for Young People

The Brent Centre for Young People (BCYP) is a therapeutic centre dedicated to helping young people who are experiencing mental health problems. The charity offers pioneering and age-specific preventative adolescent psychotherapy and is based in Brent, Northwest London. The early intervention services they offer are free and funded through fundraising from a variety of statutory, voluntary and institutional funders and the services they provide are not offered by the NHS.

BCYP applied to us for a grant towards the installation of a new outdoor wheelchair stairlift to replace their lift which had failed inspection. The new lift was vital to ensure continued access to services by wheelchair user children and young people, as well as their families/carers. We were happy to support them with a donation to help them get the lift and were pleased to see the pictures of the new installation.
