Team Oasis

Our thanks to Team Oasis for sharing their lovely photos with us recently. The pictures really showed how much the children our grant helped to support enjoy being together and taking part in the many activities they offer over 50 weeks of the year. The charity was founded in Toxteth, one of the UK’s most deprived areas, meaning their work serves groups who are experiencing a high level of social and economic disadvantage, as well as young people and adults with a disability. A wide variety of activities are offered to the 300 plus young people who like to attend and, as well as promoting friendship, respect for each other, awareness and understanding, the charity hope they are also helping to divert people away from negative influences. We were really pleased to be able to help them as they ‘continue their endeavours to end isolation, inspire aspiration, support innovation and give hope to their community’ which is just brilliant.
