Trinity Winchester

Our Operation’s Director, Caroline, visited Trinity Winchester last week to see the finished ‘UnderOneRoof’ project we helped to support which opened recently. Caroline is pictured here with Paul Williams, Trinity’s Development Manager, outside the newly created accommodation of 11 self-contained flats with communal area/communal kitchen. It is hoped that this project will support many people to transition towards independent living. The accommodation is offered to people who are identified as being in the greatest need of support, based on Trinity’s knowledge of what they call ‘revolving-door clients’ – people struggling in their lives who have not managed to be consistent in their recovery.

Trinity has operated a day Centre for homeless and vulnerable people in Winchester for over 33 years. They help people who have mental ill-health, addiction issues who are in poverty, as well as those who have suffered domestic abuse and social isolation. In addition they provide services such as access to meals, mobile dentistry and GP’s, self care such as laundry, counselling and much more.
