Minstead Trust

Our Operations Director, Caroline, enjoyed a visit to Minstead Trust in Southampton last week where, with our help, the charity has just completed work to create a new toilet block with modern wet room and shower facilities. Having better facilities for the cornerstone initiative of their work, New Forest Day Opportunities (NFDO) which is based in the grounds of Minstead Lodge, will make life safer and easier for the disabled people who come to access the health and wellbeing centre and the many workshops they offer. 82 people enjoy the workshops each week which include Ceramics, IT, Horticulture, Woodwork and Arts. Prior to having this new facility, the charity had started to struggle with their limited facilities and all the requirements due to Covid. We were really pleased to be able to help towards the funding of this project and make life a little easier.
