Middlesex Association for the Blind

Earlier in the year we provided funding to Middlesex Association for the Blind and, particularly, their Home Visiting Programme and how lovely it was to receive this picture which really captures the joy the service brings to the charity’s clients. The home visiting service operates in 9 London Boroughs; Barnet, Brent, Ealing, Enfield, Harrow, Haringey, Hillingdon, Hounslow and Richmond and they assist sight impaired people to continue to live independently in their own homes, helping with daily tasks the rest of us take for granted such as shopping, writing letters, colour coordinating clothes and visiting friends. The service helps to restore lost confidence and alleviate isolation and depression and we were very pleased to support them.
